Presenter Dr. Elisabeth Sheff
Friday September 27 12-1pm EST

Online webinar only

In this presentation Dr. Eli first identifies and explains the most common forms of consensual non-monogamy (CNM) in the US today. Then she explains the controversy around sex addiction, why some people think it is real and others prefer to frame the conversation around problematic sexual behaviors. Next Dr. Eli explores the similarities and differences between CNM and sex addiction and makes some recommendations for the field and how practitioners can handle these issues in their own practices. Finally she closes with a discussion of personal or religious judgement and the ways they relate to how people view each others’ addictions.
