Dr. Maureen Ryan

Nurse Practitioner specializing in intimacy and sexual health, working in private practice since 2011.

With a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and dual licenses as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner (AHNP) and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), she is also an AASECT Certified Sexuality Counselor (CSC) and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

Maureen has been fortunate to receive training from top-tier sex therapists, counselors, and sex educators in the field. Their expertise has significantly enhanced her effectiveness as a practitioner.

Approach to Supervision:

In her role as a supervisor, Dr. Ryan offers valuable support. Drawing from her medical background, she provides insights into the latest evidence-based approaches to managing various sexual concerns such as low desire, dyspareunia, vaginismus, orgasm issues, postmenopausal challenges, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculatory problems.

Dr. Ryan has always enjoyed mentoring fellow providers, aiding them in becoming adept at addressing sexual health issues.
