With 15 years of experience in law enforcement, I bring a deep understanding of the stressors that lead to burnout, trauma, and moral injury and the profound effects they have on you, your families, and your relationships. Addressing stress in first responders is critical due to their unique skills and needs. Heightened exposure to traumatic events increases the risk of developing PTSD, anxiety, depression, alcoholism, suicidal ideation, problematic compulsive behavior and other trauma-related symptoms. I also assist individuals transitioning out of their professional careers, helping them adjust to their new life circumstances.
I adopt an integrative approach to promoting mental health and well-being, emphasizing cultural competence in my practice. My practice supports individuals with anger management, coping skills, and life transitions. Additionally, I’m a Certified Kink Conscious professional, knowledge in kink practices, relationship dynamics and human sexuality.
My intention is not to parrot what you can find in a workbook or in training, but to offer some anecdotes based on my professional experience. I only understood the profound impact of being genuinely understood once someone did that for me. I’m here to offer you that same understanding and support. My approach is collaborative, transparent, and practical.
