As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with a PhD in Sexology, my supervision approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and a strong commitment to professional and personal growth. I view supervision as a collaborative, reflective, and supportive relationship designed to enhance both clinical competence and self-awareness.

My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment where supervisees feel encouraged to bring their authentic selves into our work together. I honor the diverse identities, backgrounds, and experiences each clinician brings, and I believe that cultural responsiveness and awareness of power dynamics are essential to ethical and effective sex therapy practice.

Supervision with me emphasizes self-reflection and experiential learning, helping supervisees explore not only their clinical work but also their personal reactions, values, and boundaries that may influence the therapeutic process. I integrate sensate focus principles into supervision encouraging mindful presence, curiosity, and attunement to both client and therapist experiences. This approach fosters deeper understanding of the embodied aspects of sexuality and intimacy work.

I aim to cultivate a safe, growth-oriented space where supervisees can examine clinical challenges, develop confidence, and strengthen their therapeutic identity. Together, we explore interventions, ethics, case conceptualization, and the delicate balance between professional skill and personal authenticity.

Ultimately, my supervision style is empathetic, collaborative, and developmentally attuned tailored to the individual needs and goals of each supervisee. My intention is to support clinicians in becoming grounded, culturally sensitive, and ethically minded sex therapists who work with confidence and compassion.
