Description:
This workshop will explore how to re-establish sexual health within relationships after disclosures. Participants will learn different therapeutic interventions to use during disclosures. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for pornography viewing will be taught.
Learning Objectives:
– Discuss 2 predictors of couples most likely to be upset by pornography viewing.
– Describe how 2 different therapeutic orientations would approach sexual disclosure cases
– Explain how Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for pornography viewing can be integrated in couple’s therapy
Speaker bio:
Nicole Prause, PhD is an American neuroscientist researching human sexual behavior, addiction, and the physiology of sexual response. She is a statistician in the Department of Medicine at UCLA, and founded the independent research laboratory Liberos LLC. https://www.liberoscenter.com
Dr. Prause is faculty and the Director of Dissertation at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
