Recorded workshop available via video on demand
Description:
Often times, male sexuality is only talked about when men are in trouble– whether through non-consensual behaviors, sexual abuse, or in a mixed sex relationship where a partner is experiencing disgust and contempt for his sexual interest. In a culture where we teach males to suppress their feelings and turn their back on vulnerability, we are left with men expressing themselves through sex. Many men learn to connect through sex and are misunderstood. This overview will begin a conversation around how to help them.
Objectives
After this seminar, attendees will be able to:
– Explain one way to treat men presenting with sexual shame
– Discuss the hidden meaning of male sexual fantasies
