Do you need support, education, or hope in creating sexual wholeness? I am a certified sex therapist and work with a broad range of sexual issues, including desire discrepancy, problematic sexual behaviors, LGBTQIA (orientation concerns, transitioning, or parenting), trauma, infidelity, “sexless” marriages, orgasm concerns, ED/premature/delayed ejaculation, polyamory, kink, pornography concerns, or resolving conflict between spirituality and sexuality. I offer individual and couple counseling to help you discover your desired sexual story. I also work with couples to create emotional connection.

I specialize in treating adults experiencing the effects of faith-related issues and/or sexual issues. Sex therapy may include addressing sexual shame, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual dysfunction, libido differences, and sexual trauma. I am affirming of queer, non-monogamous (ENM, polyamory, etc), and kinky clients. Faith/religious issues may include faith transitions, mixed-faith marriages, excessive guilt, OCD tendencies, and limiting core beliefs. I am affirming of clients’ personal values related to their faith, wherever they are on the spectrum of belief.

Dr. Annie Bryner, PhD, LCSW, is a certified sex therapist and licensed clinical social worker specializing in sex, trauma, and relationship therapy. Based in Utah, she provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples seeking help with issues such as desire discrepancy, sexual shame, infidelity, sexual trauma, compulsive sexual behavior, and intimacy challenges. I work primarily with those suffering from OCD, with a particular comfort with and focus on obsessive themes that are sexual and taboo in nature (e.g. sexual orientation, pedophilia, incest, harm, existential issues etc.). I also work with couples to overcome sexual concerns and help those suffering from sexual shame and anxiety to develop more healthy, useful relationships to their own eroticism.
