Course Description: How do people create nontraditional partnerships that are loving and satisfying? How do open relationships really work? In this lecture, Tristan Taormino shares her decades of experience in nonmonogamous communities to give clinicians tools to assist clients who face common relationship challenges and issues. She’ll discuss problems people face—from new relationship energy and time management to jealousy and agreement violations—and ways to address, cope with, and deal with them; she will also talk about the role of trauma, oppression, and power dynamics. Get skills to clarify goals, resolve conflicts, and troubleshoot nonmonogamous relationships.
