DATA BLITZ

15 MINUTES

Data blitz sessions feature up to six fast-paced brief reports on hot topics, with individuals presenting for no more than five minutes each on various research areas. Data blitzes should provide an interactive experience for the audience, and organizers should allocate time (e.g., 10 minutes for every three presentations) to support audience engagement. Interactive experiences could include posing questions that require audience participation or organizing the data blitz around a particular theme that offers an opportunity for audience and speaker integration and discussion.

CLINICAL CASE PRESENTATION

30 MINUTES

Speaker will present a case study that incorporates different areas of sexuality and that involve working or collaborating with different sexual health professionals. A discussant will conceptualize and discuss the case. Audience members will then have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the case.

Is there a student discount? MSTI alumni?

Yes! Students (both MSTI and non-MSTI) are eligible for a $100 off discount, and MSTI alumni are eligible for $50 off registration. Verify your student eligibility by emailing info@modernsextherapy.com.

Is there a group rate or discount?

Does my registration include CE hours?

The Two-Day Conference Pass with CEs includes 12 CE hours approved through AASECT, NBCC, APA, ASWB, and IBOSP. The No-CE pass does not include CE hours.

Which licensing boards accept these CE credits?

CEs are approved through APA, NBCC, ASWB, AASECT, and IBOSP. MSTI/AMHTI is also approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. Always verify with your specific state board to confirm if your state accepts these. MSTI does have a state-by-state guide that is updated throughout the year, but makes no guarantees so we always recommend double checking with your board. https://modernsextherapyinstitutes.com/msti-ces-count/

How do I receive my CE hours certificate after the conference?

After the conference, you’ll receive an email with instructions to complete your evaluation and download your CE certificate. It’s quick and easy — we’ll walk you through it.

What is the conference about?

Still Wanting: Menopause, Infidelity, and the Evolving Erotic Self is co-created by Modern Sex Therapy Institutes (Dr. Rachel Needle), Modern Intimacy (Dr. Kate Balestrieri), and Sex and Love Therapy (Wendy Haggerty, LMFT). Whether you’re a clinician, a student, someone navigating these experiences in your own life or know someone who is, or are just curious, Still Wanting is a space where the conversations that matter most finally get the attention they deserve.

This conference responds directly to what clinicians are asking for right now: nuanced, evidence-based, and sex-positive education on topics that are often misunderstood, stigmatized, or avoided altogether. A central focus is an in-depth exploration of menopause and infidelity — two of the most clinically complex, emotionally charged, and culturally misunderstood issues clinicians face today. Additional topics include compulsive sexual behavior, neurodiversity and sexuality, desire discrepancies, and evolving erotic identity, among others.

At the heart of the conference is an in-depth exploration of menopause and infidelity — two of the most emotionally charged, culturally misunderstood, and clinically complex topics of our time. Additional topics include compulsive sexual behavior, neurodiversity and sexuality, desire discrepancies, and evolving erotic identity, among others.
