Dr. Brandi Hudson is a PhD, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST). She received her PhD in Clinical Sexology from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes (MSTI). She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Intimate Connections, a private therapy practice specializing in sex therapy, couples counseling, relationship wellness, and emotional intimacy.

Dr. Hudson works extensively with couples and individuals navigating intimacy and relationship concerns, including mismatched desire, communication difficulties, infidelity recovery, sexual dysfunction, intimacy after trauma, and the stressors that impact connection in long-term relationships. Her work also focuses on helping clients strengthen emotional safety, rebuild trust, improve communication, and develop healthier patterns of intimacy and attachment. She is passionate about supporting clients in creating fulfilling, authentic, and connected relationships while addressing the emotional and sexual concerns that often remain difficult to discuss openly.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hudson is dedicated to the education, mentorship, and supervision of developing therapists pursuing competency in sex therapy and couples work. She values creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment where clinicians can build confidence in addressing complex relational and sexual concerns with skill, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Approach to Supervision:

Dr. Hudson’s supervision style is collaborative, affirming, sex-positive, and clinically grounded. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. She works closely with supervisees to strengthen case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethical decision-making, and clinical confidence while helping therapists develop their own authentic therapeutic voice.

“My goal in supervision is to create a space where clinicians feel supported, challenged, and empowered in their growth. Together, we will explore clinical cases, strengthen your understanding of relational and sexual health concerns, navigate ethical considerations, and build practical skills that help you feel confident in your work with individuals and couples. I look forward to supporting you throughout your professional journey.”
