Approach to Supervision:
Dr. Goldman has been engaged in supervising pre and post-licensed individuals for almost a decade. Dr. Goldman approaches supervision from a developmental framework that is based in the foundational relationships of a safe and supportive learning environment. She believes we need to form a working relationship with mutual respect, openness, curiosity, attunement, and a desire to learn and expand. Dr. Goldman focuses on conceptualization, intervention, as well as self-reflection and transference/countertransference to build on the supervisee’s existing strengths and competencies.
