Araceli is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has over 15 years of experience. She received her bachelor’s in psychology (B.A) from Holy Names College in Oakland, CA and her Master of Art’s (M.A.) with an emphasis on Latino Family Studies from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Sexology/Sex Therapy through Modern Sex Therapy Institutes (MSTI) in Florida. Araceli has worked in Domestic Violence shelters, has provided court advocacy to victims of crimes, has provided individual and family therapy in community mental health and private practice agencies. Araceli has provided parenting classes, ran support groups for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as provided psychoeducation groups to perpetrators of domestic violence.
Araceli enjoys working with the perinatal population offering support to pregnant women and new mothers. She has extensive history in helping victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Araceli is an advocate for everyone to experience and have a pleasurable sex life.
