The #MeToo movement is often viewed as a catalyzing moment for women that has led to more public accountability for perpetrators of sexual harassment and assault. It has also been a quietly transformative moment for men – forcing them to reconsider their past behavior and assumptions about their relationships with women. But many men struggle with how to use this newfound awareness effectively in their relationships with women. This presentation will outline how to use AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) interventions with men around issues related to sexual harassment, assualt and coercion to unlock deep, lasting change in their relationship with themselves and with others.
