Couples and Sex Therapy Certification

Modern Sex Therapy Institutes is proud to be a pioneer in training mental health and health professionals around the world. Our Certification in Couples and Sex Therapy (CCST) is a one of a kind training program that will give therapists the tools and skills they need to treat couples with a range of presenting issues. When becoming a CCST, you will also get in depth training in sex therapy in addition to training in a wide variety of couples therapy theories and techniques including but not limited to: Imago, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman, and more. Coursework is comprehensive and fills a gap in most graduate school training programs.

This program offers a combination of 180 hours of education and 50 hours of supervision. Participants who complete this program will acquire knowledge and skills in sex therapy and couples counseling. Meets all AASECT requirements for certification. Plus 30 additional hours of couples therapy training. 10 hour SAR (price not included).

This program meets the requirements for the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 180 CE credits.
