This workshop will address the myth of Porn Induced Erectile dysfunction to include the neurophysiology of penile erection, assessment of ED, and empirically-based therapies for erectile variability.

Learning Objectives:

– Describe the neurophysiology of a penile erection.
– Explain 2 of the theories that underlie erectile variability.
– Apply three empirically-based therapies for erectile variability.
– Explain the health misinformation regarding PIED.

Speaker Bio:

Nicole Prause, PhD is an American neuroscientist researching human sexual behavior, addiction, and the physiology of sexual response. She is a statistician in the Department of Medicine at UCLA, and founded the independent research laboratory Liberos LLC. https://www.liberoscenter.com

She is faculty and the Director of Dissertations at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
