Many therapists want to help couples create lasting change, but were never taught a clear, repeatable framework for moving partners out of conflict and into connection.

Too often, couple’s sessions get consumed by reactivity, miscommunication, and emotional shutdown without a dependable structure to move the work forward.

When couples feel frustrated, distant, and stuck, therapists can feel stuck too.

This training is designed for therapists who want to offer a more focused, high-value couples service and lead clients toward clarity, momentum, and meaningful change from the very first meeting.

Hi, I’m Dr. Stephanie May, an IMAGO certified relationship therapist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I have been voted Best Psychologist six years in a row in Coral Gables, Florida, and I am often sought out for complex couples cases that need a more focused and effective approach.

About 10 years ago, I began noticing something important in my work with couples.

How I structured the beginning of treatment mattered just as much as the interventions I used within the session.

Couples who began with a traditional one-hour intake often left feeling frustrated and unfinished.

But when couples participated in a longer, more intentional initial meeting, they left with greater hope, clarity, and direction. The difference was too significant to ignore.

Over the last decade, I refined this approach into a structured 3-hour couples intensive that supports deeper clinical work, creates earlier momentum, and helps therapists offer a premium service that reflects the depth and value of their expertise.
