I work with men and couples navigating challenges related to sex, intimacy, and relationships. These concerns often include desire differences, sexual anxiety, performance concerns, disconnection, conflict, and the impact of pornography use on sexual functioning and relationships. I bring a strong awareness of how cultural and religious backgrounds shape these experiences in complex ways, including the ways values, expectations, and identity interact with sexuality and relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative, direct, and tailored to you. I integrate evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, and sex therapy, along with specialized training in couples work such as the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Challenges around intimacy, sexuality, and relationships are often interconnected and influenced by factors such as anxiety, OCD, mood-related concerns, and past experiences. Together, we explore the patterns maintaining the problem, develop practical strategies to shift them, and address other factors that may be playing a role. Therapy with me is active and focused, with an emphasis on meaningful, lasting change.
