Paula Kirsch, LCSW, CST
Paula Kirsch Therapy | I serve clients via telehealth in Connecticut, New York, Michigan and Florida
Sex and intimacy concerns are common, treatable, and often wrapped in more shame than they deserve. I work with individuals and couples who want to feel more connected to their bodies, their partners, and their own desire, without judgment and without a one-size-fits-all script.
As a certified sex therapist and licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in low desire, vaginismus and painful sex, perimenopause/menopause-related changes in sexual health, and the strain that sexual disconnection puts on relationships. I integrate Gottman Method couples work with Brainspotting, a brain-body approach that can reach what talking alone sometimes can’t, especially when anxiety, trauma, or long-held beliefs are getting in the way of pleasure and closeness.
My approach is direct, warm, and practical. We talk openly about sex, and you set the pace. Sessions are held by secure video, and my practice is private-pay, which allows me to tailor treatment to what you actually need rather than what a diagnosis code requires.
I am also a PhD student in Clinical Sexology at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
