Description

Black kink communities have a rich history and oftentimes when we think about Black kink, race play comes into a lot of people’s minds. However, there are a lot of other kinks that are a little more rare in Black communities and that needs to be explored. For the first part of the training, we’ll be framing our conversation as it pertains to kink being intersectional and what that means for participants who need to understand how their privilege makes a difference when it comes to participation in certain kinks. In the second and third parts of this training, we’ll be concentrating on three extremely taboo kinks: race play, diaper fetish/play (ABDL), and wet and messy (WAM) play. This training is for kink aware professionals who would like to find the appropriate resources for your Black kink clients who have uncommon kinks, as well as understanding your own personal privilege when discussing these kinks with your clients.
Learning Objectives
  1. Explain how to apply intersectional theory and list 3 privileges that they have, as it pertains to kink.

  2. Discuss 3 different taboo fetishes for Black people.

  3. List 3 big events in Black kink history

  4. List 3 different resources for Black folks who have uncommon kinks.
